Intrusion detection, in terms of access and/or persistence in a sterile area (sterile area detection), virtual line crossing (crossing line or trip wire detection) and multiple virtual line crossings. In addition to the actual size of the object (obtained through an advanced 3D scene reconstruction mechanism), our solution uses a deep neural network to filter objects based on their class (human, animal, vehicle).

Possibilities to analyze customer attraction areas with heatmaps, count customers who walk through the physical or virtual doors of your sales area, recognize their gender, age and emotions by analyzing their faces and detect many other traits. You can also perform smart payment management through queue analytics systems to minimize wait times.

Accident Detection Module

Intelligent Abandoned Object Management Module

Crantec offers a video analysis module, based on the most advanced computer vision algorithms, to detect abandoned or removed objects in monitored areas. The app is also able to check if the object is garbage (plastic bags and boxes only) or luggage (suitcases and backpacks only); Baggage and garbage recognition cannot be activated at the same time.

Smart City Management Module

A combination of several modules of the application can be used to monitor parking lots by counting vehicles at the gates, to perform license plate detection and recognition. Thanks to the use of an innovative engine based on semantic technologies, it also allows automatic correction of license plates according to the specific nationality of the plate.

The solution can detect vehicles up to a maximum speed of 230 km/h (depending on the hardware platform chosen) and can be used both indoors (e.g. to monitor parking lots) and outdoors (e.g. to monitor City streets).

Intelligent Road Traffic Management Module

We offer a real-time video analysis module, allowing you to count and classify vehicles passing through a virtual sensor in a given direction. Three categories of vehicles are considered: motorcycles, cars and trucks. The app also identifies the color and average speed of each vehicle, and generates an alarm if that speed exceeds a certain threshold chosen by the operator. It is also capable of assessing the volume of traffic in real-time. The AI module combines an advanced 3D scene calibration and reconstruction mechanism with the most advanced computer vision and artificial intelligence algorithms.

Intelligent Job Monitoring Module

Crantec offers a video analytics module that meets security and privacy to ensure constant monitoring of workers in environments where the use of PPE is mandatory. Typical use cases are public and private construction sites or industries, where wearing PPE is required by law to ensure worker safety.

AI-PPE is essential for safety managers as well as workers, real-time continuous monitoring allows for immediate notification of misbehavior and forgetfulness. With the ability to hide the video stream, the app also ensures full compliance with current privacy regulations.

The applications use the most modern and sophisticated scientific methodologies of deep learning and have the main task of generating an event associated with a situation of interest (e.g. a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road) with all the data of interest to perfectly characterize the event itself (in the previous example, the license plate, speed, the colour, make and model of the car, the class to which it belongs, lane used, etc.)
